Welcome to Forest Lake Education Center

It is a joy to greet you as the incoming Principal of Forest Lake Education Center. My family and I are grateful to already be part of this community—two of our children attend FLEC, and we have experienced its warmth and strong sense of belonging.

Over the past 25 years, I have served in Adventist education as a teacher, chaplain, principal, and, most recently, Associate Superintendent. Each role has strengthened my commitment to partner with families to nurture students who love Jesus, love learning, and are prepared for a life in service to Him.

Whether returning or exploring FLEC for the first time, I invite you to visit, tour, and come say hi. Let’s go through this journey together.

Stephen Herr,
Principal
